get rid of pride month and replace it with veterans month
I think that the lgbt community hasn’t done enough for our society and isn’t really needed to be over celebrated and the veterans of ww1, ww2 and the falklands war need to be recognised and given a full month so that we can celebrate their achievements and there the reasons why we’re here today.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government is not responsible for the organisation of pride month.
We understand that you are want to see changes to how the armed forces and veterans are celebrated and remembered, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we could accept a petition calling on the Government to provide funding for armed forces and veteran celebration and remembrance activities and events during a specific month, if that's something you'd like to see.
