To make car insurance about the car not the driver
I want to do this as with the cost of living crisis insurance is out of this world for new drivers so I believe like many other countries the uk should follow the steps of insurance is based on the car not the driver

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The law requires people to be insured for the car they are driving. It is already possible to get car insurance that covers a driver on multiple cars. Decisions about what car insurance products to offer are a matter for individual insurers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
