VAT Refund on adult sized shoes bought for children

Additional Information

I would like to propose that parents are able to claim back the VAT on ‘adult sized’ shoes and trainers if they are bought for a child under 16.

More and more children have feet larger than the child size limit of UK 5.5 before they leave primary school.
