Change the starting hour of school to 10am

Petition Details

The goverment should change the starting hour of school to 10am. Schools start far too early making pupils unable to get the required amount of sleep leaving the vast majority of them fatigued, and sleep deprived.

Additional Information

Most students complain about the starting hour of school and agree that schools should start later. Most schools begin at 7:30-9am and according to studies performed by researchers at The University of Munich in 2004, The body clock of teenagers is shifted past 11PM meaning teenagers do not get the sleep required. By moving forward with this, you could prevent late-comers, improve academic performance, and overall improve the pupils’ happiness.
