Petition Action

Allow 16 year olds to take Driving tests and Drive at the age of 16

Petition Details

The legal age to start driving and take driving lessons are at 17-18. My petition will be about allowing 16 year olds to take driving lessons and drive when they are 16 years old. Adding onto that, I believe that 15 year olds should be allowed to sit and monitor how a driving test/ lesson works

Additional Information

Theory test should be allowed to sit at the age of 15 years old. Adding onto this, I think that the Age limit to Supervise a learner driver should be 20-65.
This is because Older People would have less knowledge of newer rules and regulations that have been put in place. Cars are also now technologically more advanced.
This is also a better alternative to the “Allow 15 year olds to Drive” I belive that my petition is better as people would not be as mature as others while they are on the road….
