Petition Action

To ensure ALL Private dog breeders require a licence to breed

Petition Details

To make it against the law to breed a dog privately without a licence and being registered. Legislated via the Government and linked to HMRC for tax purposes which will reduce over inflated prices asked for certain breeds. Luna's law would stop breeders that are not prepared to be regulated

Additional Information

To make it a criminal offence if you attempt to breed puppies privately and solely for monetary gain. The same as Lucy's Law applies for Commercial/Business breeders. I recently purchased a puppy Luna from an unregistered breeder. Luna was seen by her vet 2 days before I collected her. Luna was seen by our vet a few days after we had her. She was diagnosed with maluntrition, severe dyhdration, swollen kidneys & all this from a physical examination. She on scan presented with a Liver shunt.
