Stop funding the ineffectual UN, and let it collapse

The UN has been totally ineffective to stop the human rights abuses in Syria, the Russian aggression towards Ukraine and other neighbours on account of the way the UN Security Council gives a veto to permanent members (which Russia has abuses time and again, both during the first cold war and the present one).

The UK, together with other allies such as the US should therefore stop funding this failed organisation, let it collapse, and in time set up a new body that only gives global power to democratic regimes- after all if the 2003 Gulf War was wrong on a Monday, why would it suddenly become a just cause on a Wednesday just because the votes of one or two one party states had managed to be bought somehow?
