Repeal or amend the Great British Museum Act 1963
Return stolen artefacts from the Great British Museum to their country of origin by either amending or repealing the act so that repatriation requests can be considered more seriously.
Our Government should stop denying countries parts of their history which was wrongfully stolen from them.
As of 16th August 2023, the British Museum has proved itself incapable of preserving artefacts after they reported the theft of around 2000 artefacts to the public.
The security of these artefacts and their cultural heritage is more important than British pride in their Empire's loot.
