Introduce laws protecting religious views from discrimination/hate speech
Basic human rights and freedoms to express religious beliefs that all are entitled to under national and international legislation are being significantly restricted in this country without justification or accountability. Illegal discrimination/hate speech against believers should be criminalised.
People are losing their jobs, services, positions and ability to function in society or arrested without cause or due process for lawfully expressing their religious beliefs. Many appear in Court following false allegations or without evidence and are later found no cause to answer. No action is taken against fraudulent accusers even though causing much distress and financial loss to those falsely accused, nor the Police for failing to investigate fully the circumstances before arrest.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
It's not clear if you're concerned about religiously motivated hate speech, or freedom of speech, and we're not sure exactly what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.
There is already legislation governing hate crimes that are religiously aggravated. You can find out more about this here: www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/racist-and-religious-hate-crime-prosecution-guidance
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
