Enforce manufacturers/suppliers to highlight new, smaller, lighter products.
Bring in legislation to prevent customers from being duped into paying the same, or higher prices, for smaller, lighter, or fewer quantities.
The practice is a surreptitious, underhanded way of companies charging higher prices for their goods without the customer being aware of the price rise for the product.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The size of products and their prices are a matter for manufacturers and retailers. The Competition and Market Authority is responsible for tackling unfair behaviour, and people can report competition and consumer issues here: www.gov.uk/guidance/tell-the-cma-about-a-competition-or-market-problem
