Petition Action

To prevent misconduct by social services and the courts when removing children

Petition Details

I want them to review and update guidelines specifically regarding the section 47 and how it can be used.
Misconduct, mistakes and contradictions should be resolved timely and not ignored.
Intentionally misleading the courts and panels or intentionally ignoring vital information.

Additional Information

Wales and England are currently the worst in terms of removing children from parents.
Some may be needed but many are clearly wrong.
Even with the courts decisions are made based on reports and more than often they rule in the favour of them.
If the information being provided is untrue or misleading the decision by the courts are based on them.
This is unfair and unjust.
children are removed without good reason which impacts both the children and the parent.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure what legislation or guidance you would like the Government to review.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
