Require libraries to stock primary and secondary school textbooks

Petition Details

Knowledge Shouldn't Be a Luxury: Make all textbooks for the national curriculum, and GCSE and A Level courses, available in local libraries, by requiring libraries to stock these.

Additional Information

In this agonizing cost of living crisis, it is heart-wrenching to see struggling parents unable to afford the often outrageously overpriced textbooks their children need to learn. Each child deserves an equal chance to thrive, yet textbooks can be affordable to many. It's devastating to think only some kids can get ahead while less fortunate students can be left feeling hopeless and excluded.
