Petition Action

No more dog breed bans use restrictions instead

Petition Details

For the government to use section 2 subsection 1 to impose some restrictions on breeds that are deemed to pose a greater risk

We want the government to use this part of the amendment to section 1 rather than outright banning further breeds

Additional Information

We believe banning one ‘type’ will not stop the people who seek to use dogs as weapons/ to intimidate/ or abuse dogs in such a way they become a danger
To impose restrictions on breeds of concern rather than an outright ban
Including a registration scheme and responsible dog ownership course
