No more dog breed bans use restrictions instead
For the government to use section 2 subsection 1 to impose some restrictions on breeds that are deemed to pose a greater risk
We want the government to use this part of the amendment to section 1 rather than outright banning further breeds
We believe banning one ‘type’ will not stop the people who seek to use dogs as weapons/ to intimidate/ or abuse dogs in such a way they become a danger
To impose restrictions on breeds of concern rather than an outright ban
Including a registration scheme and responsible dog ownership course
