Require all train/tube stations to have step-free access
I think that the Government should require all public transport stations (train, tube, DLR, etc.) to have step-free access, such as lifts, so they are accessible to disabled people and those with pushchairs.
It can be very hard for parents to travel with their child/children when using their pushchair and also for those using wheelchairs. As a parent, I find it frustrating having to ask people to help me get my child's pram up and down the stairs. If there were step-free access, this would really make transport easier for us.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
