Require the installation and use of safety belts in police vans

Petition Details

There is currently not a legal duty on police services to have seatbelts installed and used for detainees who are being transported in vans.

Additional Information

We think the law should be changed: Require safety seatbelts in the back of police vans for the safety of people being transport, especially in case there is an accident on the way to custody.
