Petition Action

Re-introduce Pet Passports

Petition Details

Since the EU departure Pet Passports have been replaced by the Animal Health Certificate or AHC.
The AHC is an archaic paper system which has to be paid for each trip into Europe.

Additional Information

Vets and Pet owners want passports back only certain vet companies want to keep AHCs to make money.
Please make Pet Passports the norm again
Vets have to spend valuable hours completing the pages of the AHC and then charge owners around £200 per animal. Each trip the twenty page document is thrown away after coming back to UK and the whole process starts again.
