Get rid of all school examinations

Petition Details

Get rid of all examinations that are currently taking place in schools across the country, for example: GCSEs, A-Levels etc.

Additional Information

They can be extremely damaging to students’ mental health and we believe don't accurately reflect the knowledge and intelligence of students. They are wrongly essential to success in life, as if a letter on a piece of paper defines who we are! Students are often bombarded with revision which can leave them with little free time to enjoy themselves, can lead to or exacerbate mental health problems. Exams can increase anxiety in some cases and can lead to people not wanting to come to school!
