Ensure that human rights of xl bully owners are not violated with the ban
The xl bully ban threatens to make owners homeless and have social services issues with their children by exempting their dog. I would like to see the government ensure that current owner rights are not violated with the ban and that they have no repercussions like this after exemption
Most social housing don’t allow exempt dogs in their properties. Social services also normally get involved with exempted breeds as they feel it a risk. Dogs are family and most these dogs and owner have done nothing wrong. Human rights dictates that people have a right to a life without discrimination. Owners are being discriminated for owning a dog that looks a certain way and has done nothing wrong that is their family. No one should be forced to destroy them or lose their home or children.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
The Government's ban on XL Bully dogs will not affect other rights, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Bad owners are to blame not the breed - don't ban the XL bully: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/643611
