Stop No Further Action from being disclosed on Enhanced DBS checks

Petition Details

I would like the government to introduce a law so that if someone has been investigated for a crime and no further action (NFA) is taken, that this does not show up on an enhanced DBS check. If the police don't have enough evidence to charge someone why do they have a black mark on their record.

Additional Information

I think it's unfair and downright offensive that someone who has not been charged has this mark on their record. If they have not been charged with a crime then why is NFA allowed to be disclosed ergo affecting people’s ability to get a job.
