Licence Cyclists

Additional Information

I wish the debate to be had that bicycles should be licensed and possible taxed.

1) I see (as a cyclists and a motorist) cyclists breaking the laws of the road on a daily basis, riding through red lights, not indicating, riding dangerously, weaving in and out of traffic and generally causing danger to motorists, pedestrians and other cyclists.

2) At present it is impossible to know who went through that red light or who was the cyclist that knocked over a person and carried on riding. Some form of vehicle licensing is needed to be discussed.

3)Also to be included should be the discussion on taxing cyclists and the need for them to have some accident insurance.
