Facilitate access to venues and stages. Disability awareness. #Accessibility4All
Friends and family members are not allowed to watch a live show. They also cannot go on stage and perform. Why ?, because their are disabled. We would love to raise awareness on this issue, allowing disabled people and artists, to feel equal and be able to have access to venues like everyone else.
We seek intervention to ensure that everyone, regardless of their disabilities, can participate in cultural and artistic experiences. This is crucial to establish accessibility, promote inclusive policies, and create a supportive environment that empowers disabled individuals to engage in the arts. These changes, will help the government uphold the principles of equality, social integration, and enable the community to contribute their talents and perspectives to the cultural fabric of society.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the accessibility of certain venues, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we have previously opened a petition calling on the Government to provide funding to make venues accessible to visitors and performers: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/630579
