Reforming the UK School System for the Modern World
Implement a curriculum where students choose subjects supporting those who have a clear path rather than forcing a broader and shallower education to all, reducing brute memorisation, emphasising critical thinking, computer literacy, creativity, and relevance to a growing and modern world.
This approach is essential to prepare students for the evolving demands of the modern world. It empowers individuals to pursue their passions and future careers while also supporting those who are unsure fostering innovation and adaptability. By reducing or removing rigid memorisation skills, supporting deep, real, applied knowledge and emphasising practical and problem solving skills, we can equip the next generation with the tools they need to thrive in today’s dynamic global landscape.
