In the UK, stamp duty relief for unforeseeable life events can offer financial assistance to individuals in need, like those requiring accessible housing or facing financial hardship. We believe this would demonstrate social responsibility, help stimulate the housing market, and enhance the Government's public image. A well-designed policy can strike a balance between individual support and fiscal responsibility.
