Make Protesting on Remembrance Day Illegal
As a veteran, I hold the 11th of November, Remembrance Day, in high regard. It is a day to pause, reflect and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It is also a day to be thankful that we can stand here free today because of their bravery and dedication.
This petition calls for legislation making it illegal to stage protests on Remembrance Day. By doing so, we can ensure that this day remains dedicated solely to honouring our fallen heroes without any distractions or disruptions.
We urge lawmakers to consider this proposal seriously and respect the sanctity of Remembrance Day. Please sign this petition if you too believe that we should preserve the dignity and respectfulness of this crucial commemoration.
