Ban fireworks in residential areas and only allow in remote areas by licence

Petition Details

To allow only licensed companies to hold firework displays for the public in remote areas away from residential homes and largely populated areas. I think there should be a £2,500 fee for the license each year to deter individuals from holding private displays.

Additional Information

We believe random firework displays at night are unacceptable. They impact ordinary working people as well as those suffering from mental health problems, which are on the rise. I think this is antisocial behaviour and should be stopped. In my local area, people are inconsiderate with fireworks all year round disturbing the peace of others, as well as distressing animals.
