Low bus fare for ALL children travelling to and from school.
Set a low fare/a price cap on childrens bus fare to and from school that benefits ALL children across the country. In some areas children have free travel to/from school, whilst others have to pay over £86 to get to their nearest secondary school, they cannot use the £2 price cap on the school bus.
Fair opportunities for ALL children. Less traffic, good for net zero agenda, sustainable transport, help to level up. Promotes maturity and independance for students. Good for the economy as parents will not leave early/arrive late for work to drop/collect older children. Improve attendance and punctuality.
Allow ALL children to feel included, postive well being, safeguarding our young people. Encourage young people into further education.
