Petition Action

Call a general election - in response to the PM's comments about Rwanda

Petition Details

The Prime Minister's response to the Supreme Court's ruling regarding the 'Rwanda migrant resettlement plan' is utterly disgraceful. A general election would hold the Government accountable for their actions and finally allow the voices of the people to be heard.

Additional Information

A general election needs to be called immediately so that the voices of the people can be heard. To act in government any longer without calling a general election is to make an utter mockery of democracy. The Government's 'Rwanda migrant resettlement plan' was ruled unlawful by the Supreme Court and the PM's response is unacceptable. To defy the courts is disgraceful and the Government needs to be held accountable immediately. Give the people a choice. Give the people a general election. Now.
