Petition Action

Require wages to rise in line with inflation

Petition Details

I propose that legislation be introduced to ensure that wages rise in line with inflation.

Additional Information

There almost isn’t a bill we pay that doesn’t rise in line with inflation and yet our wages stagnate and we must strike to fight for fair pay, while the cost of living rises and rises. The government has already started restricting our right to strike and protest, if this legislation is not introduced, soon we will not have legitimate and effective methods to ensure we get paid fairly.
