Posthumous Knighthood for Stephen Sutton
We, the undersigned call upon the Prime Minister to recommend to Her Majesty that a posthumous Knighthood be conferred upon the Late Stephen Sutton in recognition of his truly astounding effort in raising nearly FOUR MILLION POUNDS for charity whilst suffering his dreadful illness.
That sum would have been an amazing achievement by anyone let alone when bearing in mind the burden that Stephen so very bravely bore.
In this day and age, when "celebrity status" so cheaply bandied about, I can't think of anyone more deserving of a Knighthood and if there is no precedent for awarding it posthumously, then start one NOW.
