Obesity, Cancer, Diabetes and other diet related ailments.Limit sugar, salt and saturated fat content of food.
Unreasonable costs of fresh fruit and vegetables is forcing those on lower incomes to cheap calorie dense foods offered in supermarkets and fast food chains
I would like to ask the government consider the following
* Limit the amount of fast food restaurants based on local population size
*Apply Health Risk tax to foods that are high in sugar, salt or saturated fats
*Require that all packaged food items list the caloric content of the entire product as sold and not the assumed "serving size"
*All tax collected by the Health Risk tax should be given to UK farmers to encourage the agricultural sector
*Require that all food establishments’ fast or otherwise ensure that at least 30% of their menu is vegetarian
*Drastically reduce the amount of advertising of fast food allowed on children's television channels.
