A fair income threshold for family visa income requirement.
The family visa income requirement has been raised from £18,600 to £38,700. We request the government to reconsider and revise the proposed family visa income requirement, ensuring a more inclusive and equitable approach that respects the rights of families to be together.
The proposed income threshold unfairly targets families with modest incomes, disregarding the diverse economic circumstances that individuals and families face. Many families, despite having stable relationships and the ability to support themselves, may fall short of the proposed financial benchmark.
We request the government to reconsider and revise the proposed family visa income requirement, ensuring a more inclusive and equitable approach that respects the rights of families to be together
