Do not increase income requirements from £18,600 to £38,700 for family visas
The government propose to increase the income requirements for family and spouse visas by more than double the current requirements. Reconsider this significant rise in income requirements.
This change will split up existing families in the UK and will have significant effects on future generations in the UK. This increase is more than double the current requirements and essentially squeezes out low income and minimum wage families from remaining together in the UK.
