Pava spray to be mandatory in private run prisons
I would like the government to make pava spray mandatory in private run jails which include G4S
Pava spray will reduce the amount of staff assaults and assist in the behaviour of prisoners. To protect staff.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Privately managed prisons holding adult males have the option to roll out PAVA to their staff. Decisions about whether to do so are a matter for privately managed prisons, not the UK Government or Parliament.
