Don't increase the Financial Threshold to £38,700 from £18,600 for Family visas

Petition Details

The announcemt of home sectory on 4th December 2023 about the increase in income threshold for family visa, its totally unfair and unrealistic in terms of the figures, ONS state almost 60% of british men dont earn that and almost 75% of british women dont earn that figure It will tore families apart

Additional Information

It will put lower earning families an undue pressure, the new propsed figures are unrealistic, almost 70% of uk population does not earn the proposed amount... and it risk breaking the humanity touch by not letting such propotionate percentage of the people to have family joy.. it will cap people to love or to live, this policy stinks like only the wealthy people would have the choice
