Introduce a fast-track process for cases involving coercive control

Petition Details

Change the law so cases involving coercive control can be heard quickly. Waiting for these cases destroys people’s mental health and is extremely expensive.

Additional Information

Cases should be heard quickly with short time frames for the respondent to build a case against the evidence, as they should have their response to hand. The process should allow an order to be drawn up very quickly.

This way living arrangements can be sorted quickly, helping to avoid devastating impacts on children's upbringings and people’s mental health. It’s destroying lives.
