Change sepsis to a category 1 not a 2, as it is fatal within 12 hours.
I would like all patients with sepsis or suspected sepsis to be treated immediately, and for this to be changed to a category 1. This is because there is a golden hour, which is very important to treat sepsis. Sepsis is one of the most leading causes of death.
To many people are dying as ambulances and hospital are not treating their parents soon enough, or not treating them at all. All sepsis and suspect patients should all get the sepsis six care bundle.
