Keep British summer time all year round

Petition Details

Stop the swapping of gmt to bst, keep GMT+1 (BRITISH SUMMER TIME) all year round. Save lives by lengthening daylight in the afternoon. Save the bother of having to change clocks twice a year.

Additional Information

There should be a study into Seasonal affective disorder to see if more light during waking hours is beneficial to mental health . There should be a study into how accidents are reduced by lengthening the daylight hours in the afternoon ( people forget to switch on headlights when driving in the afternoon about are more likely to switch them on in the morning) save money in the major organisations by removing one administrative step twice a year.
