A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS
I would like the concept of e-democracy to be submitted to a referendum.
E-democracy is to be a versatile tool for getting accurate representation for the people effectively allowing citizens to vote on any suggested law proposals or measures very quickly and decisively. This is something we need as the speed at which changes happen in our times seems to pick up. It will cut bloated government and reduce interference with the inherent, well meaning nature any ruling body should hold dear. This is a petition for the government to develop and implement this new method.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want there to be a referendum on changes to public engagement with the political process, but it's not clear what you mean by e-democracy.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what proposal you would like the Government to hold a referendum on.
