No breed specific legislation in Scotland

Petition Details

With the recent dog attacks in England and wales, the uk government decided to ban the xl bully type dog.

We strongly believe that this should not be the case in Scotland.

We want to bring liscencing in place to ensure animal and public safety as well as responsible owners

Additional Information

There are more cases of animal abuse, neglect, dogs burnt, poisoned, starved, beaten, tied up, dumped or left to roam the streets. since this happened there has been 0 dog attacks. We also have major concerns over defra as they have had 0 involvement in the welfare of these animals. They also have a duty of care of pollution but have left the public to bury these dogs unaided. We believe that the dogs aren’t to blame but the people. We want an end to bsl and the right people held accountable
