Keep 6 Week Holidays
Keep the 6 week holidays as they are. Students are in school for 190 days which equals to 1235 hours every academic year.
If the Government did change the Summer Holidays to a 4-week-long-period, students would return to school in the middle of August, resulting in more time in school. This would not only be tiring for teachers but also mentally and physically draining for students who attend every single day. Those who have poor attendance might not be as affected due to their lack of time in school. Overall I personally think that the 6-week-holidays should stay the same.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
The Government has not announced any plans to reduce the length of school summer holidays in England, so we're not sure what you want the Government or Parliament to do.
