1million dead 20million injured black box insurance can stop the carnage

This year in the UK more than 20,000 people a year will learn that one of their relations have been either been killed or seriously injured in another needless road traffic accident. There is no Government strategy do deal with this problem?

A recent report from the Transport Research Laboratory suggests it. Take a reasonably neutral approach to black box insurance The report suggests that the risk to the DfT of supporting Black Box Insurance are that it could create negative government perceptions.

Could be seen as supporting Insurance companies
Could be viewed as encouraging “big brother” surveillance
Issues arising with new technology could create negative impact

The Government needs to take standardise, regulate and promote the introduction of this live saving technology?
