A UK ban on the sale, barter or trade of any Ivory, or any derivative product containing Ivory irrespective of age.
As a species we should finally acknowledge the cruelty and damage we have done to those endangered species commonly killed historically and today to supply the Ivory market.
We should follow the moral lead set by HRH Prince Philip and William.
By banning the trade, barter and sale of all Ivory products or products containing Ivory, irrespective of age or origin, we would send a clear message to those who still poach and those who deal in Ivory illegally.
A derogation should be given to museums for antique art of significant importance which contains Ivory.
