Change the name of 'Storm Isha'
I am demanding that the Government/Parliament immediately change the name of 'Storm Isha'
'Isha' is one of the five daily prayers in Islam, a religion that is followed by approximately 3.8 million people in the UK. It is extremely offensive to name a storm after one of the five daily prayers in Islam or any other religious term. The name should be changed to something more appropriate that does not offend anybody's religion.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about naming storms are a matter for the Met Office, not the UK Government or Parliament.
