Delay test cricket series until Shoaib Bashir is granted visa to enter India
Shoaib Bashir is an English cricketer of Pakistani heritage who has been selected for the first time in an England men’s squad against India, in India. The test series is due to start on Thursday 25th January
and Bashir is being refused entry to the country.
India have not played any bilateral cricket against Pakistan since 2013 because of political tensions between the two countries. Bashir was selected in the squad back in mid- December and now finds himself on the way back to the UK whilst his teammates find themselves preparing for a test match on foreign soil.
ECB should delay the start of the test match to make a stance on this unfair and corrupt decision.
