Make misogyny a specific crime

Petition Details

Misogyny undermines the tireless work being done to prevent Violence Against Woman and Girls, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence. We believe misogyny is embedded in society and is a culturally accepted norm, which can prevent Women and Girls being protected from male violence and abuse.

Additional Information

It is vital that Women and Children are protected from male violence and abuse. There should be no tolerance for misogyny as it allows laws protecting women to be undermined and minimised. It is essential that in order for equality to prevail that misogyny be stamped out.
