Require all taxi drivers to take the CPC course

Petition Details

Taxi drivers spend more hours on the road than most other drivers. I believe they should be made to do the CPC to understand the roads and protect passengers better.

Additional Information

If bus drivers and lorry drivers have to do the CPC course, then I believe all taxi drivers should have to as well.

They carry passengers and spend as many if not more hours on the road.

Extra care should be taken when carrying passengers.

I believe councils hand out taxi licences too easily, and we should make taxi drivers more qualified to do the job.
