When a Prime Minister resigns an immediate General Election should be called
Make it in law that when a sitting Prime Minister resigns or leaves their role, rather than filling it from within the current government that the public should have their say through a General Election.
Under one General Election the Conservative Party has appointed three Prime Ministers all with vastly different approaches - none of which the public had a say. Passing a law that calls for an immediate General Election following the resignation of a Prime Minister would ensure this doesn’t happen again.
