Sex offenders to be added to a database accessable to the public
Create a database or let the information held on police databases be publicly accessible regarding registered sex offenders. This should include the sex offenders name and area of residency along with an image of the person if possible.
The government need to do a better job of protecting children. Sex offenders privacy is protected and it shouldn't be if along with the punishment given to these people they also have to be on a publicly accessible list it would stop sex offenders committing these acts in the first place as it would affect their lives more having to deal with the repercussions and embarrassment. These people should not be protected and parents should be able to find out who to keep their children away from.
