Make cyberbullying a specific criminal offence

Petition Details

There is no definition in law of cyberbullying at this time, and there is no specific anti-cyberbullying legislation. I believe this needs to change and propose the Government put new laws in place, making cyberbullying a specific criminal offence, to protect victims from this horrendous behaviour.

Additional Information

Many people, and particularly young people, are affected by cyberbulling, and I believe current laws don't provide adequate protections against this horrendous activity.
