Give Office Workers the Right to Use Adjustable Stand-Up/Sit Down Desks
Office workers are forced to sit for hours on end at their desks every day.
In this day and age there are more and more office staff who are working longer and longer hours.
Studies show that excessive sitting causes all sorts of health problems, such as obesity.
A solution is for employers to offer desks where employees have the choice to stand up or sit on a high chair, throughout their day, whilst obviously still catering for those who require to be seated constantly.
This will only happen if there is a law that is passed that makes it compulsory for employers to offer desks which have a dual standing and sitting effect.
Office workers have the right to preserve their health.
Given the number of office workers in Britain, this law is a step towards a healthier nation.
